Richard Granville - Smith
Richard Granville-Smith is a highly respected Artist & Art Lecture.
He has exhibited internationally, Spain, the UK and Australia and received grant awards from South East Arts in the Uk and Arts Victora in Australia. He was a resident Artist at Montsalvat from 2004-2009.
He cites his most formative influences as Artist and lecturer as his time on the Winchester School of Art MA course, based in Barcelona. And, the mentorship of Dennis Creffield, subsequent to completing his BA at Brighton university. Dennis Creffield was a student of David Bomberg, and the philosophy and approaches exemplified by the ‘Bomberg school’ lie at the core of Richards teaching methods.
Over 35 years of teaching he has established a reputation for delivering uniquely inspirational guidance to Art students across a wide spectrum of experience and approaches.
